Board of Directors/Advisors View the J4NA Organization Chart. Officers: Cecilia L. Chang, founder and Chair of the Board. Ms. Chang founded WenHoLee.org, the organization that spearheaded a successful advocacy campaign for Dr. Wen Ho Lee, which resulted in his release and a well-publicized apology from the presiding judge. Ms. Chang chaired the Dr. Wen Ho Lee Defense Fund, raised over $600,000 in one year. Ms. Chang has over twenty years of experience as a staff member, board of director and volunteer for many nonprofit organizations advocating for the rights of women, minorities and the underprivileged. Justin Probert, Treasurer Justin Probert has over ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector focused on fundraising and organizational capacity-building efforts. He concluded an eight-year tenure at the Tides Center in 2003 as their Senior Coordinator for New Projects, administering their intake functions. Justin serves as board member and advisor for a variety of community-based organizations working with the homeless, immigrants and youth populations. Justin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in 1993. He is currently the Operations Director of the Gay Straight Alliance Network, a youth-led statewide network that connects school-based Gay-Straight Alliances to each other and community resources. He enjoys spending time with his multi-cultural extended family based in the U.S. and Philippines, his beautiful wife Anna (a New American), and is the proud father of a six-month old baby, Rayne Dominique. Board of Directors: Sean Liu McLean Sean Liu McLean is a Replenishment Analyst for Party America Acquisitions Corporation. He has worked in the retail business for 3 years at Mervyn's, specializing in retail management, buying, financial forecasting, and planning. Sean worked at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China to create business plans for U.S. – China joint ventures and at California Department of Justice working on computer systems and applications specific to the organization. Sean acted as a United Way Captain at Mervyn's for 2 years raising approximately $50,000. Attending the University of California at Davis, he was a pier advisor for Campus Violence Prevention Center delivering educational presentations to community groups, hospitals, and high schools on community and domestic violence. At the Campus Violence Prevention Center, he was on a board deciding the implementation of a $500,000 grant, the largest ever received by the program. At UC Davis he was voted President of the Davis College Democrats and presided over a board deciding on fundraising and political action campaigns. Currently, Sean is a committee member for the UC Davis Cal Aggie Alumni Leadership Scholarship Committee. Secretary: Emil Chang Emil Chang, Esq. Mr. Chang has over ten years of experience in the Silicon Valley technology business sector focusing on intellectual property and high-tech start-ups. Mr. Chang has a law degree from University of California, Hastings, and is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
